The Epson USA PowerLite 98H is a LCD projector offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
