Designed for the Stationary sector, the Pro-G7805U model from Epson USA features 8000 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 50000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 779 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
