Known as the EX71, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
