The projector Powerlite 109W by Epson USA utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
