Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA BrightLink Pro 1420Wi projects images in a Whiteboard environment, with technical specs listing 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
