The Pro Cinema 4040 model is a 3D-LCD projector from Epson USA, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 160000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. According to Epson USA, the lamp has a durability of 3500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 487 cm can be illuminated with 2300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 325 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 24 decibels. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
