The PowerLite 97 is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose specifications list 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Epson USA, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
