The PowerLite 51C is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose specifications list 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 201 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
