With the PowerLite 685W, manufacturer Epson USA offers a short-throw LCD projector with WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 14000:1. The lamp life is specified by the manufacturer as 10000 hours, which converts to over 13.7 years at 2 hours per day. Includes an integrated media player that can be used to play files directly. Thanks to the horizontal and vertical keystone correction, the projector can be positioned very freely. Thanks to the short-throw projection ratio of just 0.28:1, the projector does not stand in the room. For a 2m wide image, the projector only needs to be 56 cm away from the screen. The model offers a microphone jack plug and 16W speakers, so no additional audio devices are required for presentations or training courses. A smartphone with MHL connection can be connected directly to the MHL/HDMI port for 1080p / 60 Hz image mirroring (screen mirroring).
