Behind the name PowerLite 822+ is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 296 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
