Known as the PowerLite 2247U, this Laser-LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5500 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 7.5 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 4200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 658 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
