Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the Home Cinema 640 projector from Epson USA projects with a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution, alongside 3200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 15000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
