The PowerLite 975w model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 10000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 13.7 years when used for 2 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 610 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 407 cm. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
