Equipped with LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite 1705C offers 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 408 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 272 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
