According to Epson USA, the PowerLitePro Cinema 9700 UB model provides 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 200000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 406 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 271 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
