The Epson USA PowerLite L255F is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 4500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 455 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
