Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA EpiqVision Mini EF11 device delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 2500000:1 as a projector. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to support for Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
