The Hisense Vidda C5 Pro Max is a DLP projector offering 2880 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in CVIA lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 2880 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
