Known as the PowerLite 7800P, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 700:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
