Behind the name EX5200 is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
