A projector from Epson USA is the PowerLite 98, whose LCD model delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 10000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
