Equipped with DLP technology, the Barco F70-W8 offers 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 60000 hours – calculating to 41.1 years at four hours of use per day. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 909 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 606 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables.
