The projector F85 1080p by Barco operates as a DLP device with 11000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1066 cm can be illuminated with 11000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 711 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
