The HDX-4K14 model from Barco combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a native UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 954 cm can be illuminated with 12000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 636 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
