A projector from Barco is the G50-W6, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 5400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 750000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. A look at the light output reveals: The 5400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 747 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 498 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
