Based on LCD technology, the Barco IQ G200L device delivers 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 400:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 259 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range.
