A projector from Barco is the RLS-W12, whose DLP model delivers 11000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 1500:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 11000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1066 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 711 cm. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
