The F70-4K4 is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Barco, whose specifications list 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 60000 hours – calculating to 41.1 years at four hours of use per day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. A massive advantage for fixed installations is the HDBaseT interface, which transmits video, audio, and control signals losslessly over long cable runs.
