The F50 1080 model from Barco combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Barco, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 502 cm. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
