The projector DP4K-18BLPHC by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 16000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Regarding projection size, the value of 16000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 729 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 486 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
