The FLM R20+ model from Barco combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 18000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a native SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 750 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 18000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1168 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 779 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams.
