The projector DP4K 60L by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 60000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2350:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 60000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 729 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 486 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
