Behind the name SLM R10 Executive is a DLP projector by Barco, whose main features include 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 500 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 847 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 565 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams.
