This projector from Barco utilizes 3D-Laser-DLP technology, achieving 4500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of 6K 6144 x 2592. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels.
