Equipped with DLP technology, the Barco G100-W16 offers 14500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1223 cm can be illuminated with 14500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 815 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
