As a projector, the Barco UDX-4K22 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600, and is additionally specified with 21000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 21000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1262 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 841 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
