The projector FS400-N4K by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2176. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 25000 hours, which translates to 17.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
