A projector from Barco is the iD LR 6, whose BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
