The projector Galaxy NH 12 by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 750 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 12000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1113 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
