As a projector, the Barco HDX W18 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 16000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2600:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 16000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1285 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 857 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
