Based on DLP technology, the Barco PGXG-61B device delivers 6750 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 4400:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 715 cm can be illuminated with 6750 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 477 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
