The FS400-HR is a 3D-DLP projector by Barco, whose specifications list 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2176 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 50000 hours, which translates to 34.2 years with 4 hours of daily use. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
