Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite L790U device delivers 7300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 and a contrast of 5000000:1 as a projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 744 cm can be illuminated with 7300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 496 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Very large screen width and rooms with plenty of light and shaded daylight.
