The projector Powerlite L520U by Epson USA operates as a LCD device with 5200 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 2500000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 489 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
