Equipped with DLP technology, the Barco UDM-W19 offers 17800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 22000 hours – calculating to 15.1 years at four hours of use per day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1356 cm can be illuminated with 17800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 904 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
