The projector IQ G500 by Barco operates as a LCD device with 5000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 800:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range.
