The projector G100-W19 by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 16000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 16000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1285 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 857 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
