Designed for the Stationary sector, the PA1004UL model from Nec features 9000 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 9000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 964 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 643 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
