Based on DLP technology, the Nec XT5100 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
