This projector is named ME342U, originates from Nec, and its data sheet shows 3400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 10000 hours, which amounts to roughly 13.7 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 3400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 592 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 395 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
